I finally felt like I was becoming my old self again.

My name is Terrie Anderson. I am a 'success story' because of Almased. I am a retired school teacher and just turned 57. I am 5'9" with medium bone structure and have been slim most of my life, weighing in around 140 to 145 pounds. I have always been a healthy eater, eating mostly fresh foods, lots of fruits and veggies, lean meat and whole grains.

For the past 3 years, I have been having health issues, such as high blood pressure, mysterious weight gain, lethargy/fatigue, mood swings and feeling groggy and not my usual energetic, light and happy self. I was putting on weight, even though I wasn't eating anything 'fattening'.

In the fall of 2014, I ventured into a health food store and saw Almased on the shelf. I had seen advertisements for Almased in the Alive magazine I picked up occasionally and was curious about it. There were free samples on the shelf so I took one home and tried it. I loved it, but wasn't ready to have shakes in replacement of meals.

I began going to the local gym this past winter of 2015 when my weight escalated to 188 pounds but still could not lose weight and had little energy. I decided to go to the Naturopath who recommended that I begin a high protein meal plan and eliminate some carbs. He suggested protein shakes and smoothies be added to my meal plan. I suggested to him that I would like to try the Almased Diet. After he researched it, he told me to go for it! I went back to the health food store, grabbed two containers of Almased and began the Almased Diet the very next day.

On March 15th of this year, 2015, I weighed in at 186 pounds. Today, July 8th, 2015, I weigh 157 pounds! I have lost 29 pounds thanks to Almased!* I followed the meal plan to a T, carefully for the first month, and then began to add a variety of healthy foods as snacks between shakes and began to have dinner with my husband again.

I continued to lose weight and had more energy and finally felt like I was becoming my old self again. I still have an Almased shake for breakfast and add blueberries and raspberries. I have an Almased-recipe-type meal for lunch and if I don't have a shake for dinner, I have a balanced healthy meal with my husband.

I am going to keep on with Almased until I lose another 7 pounds. My goal is to be at 150 pounds by the end of August, if not before. I love the shakes, love the taste and texture, and the feeling of satisfaction that comes from drinking them. I feel like Almased saved my life!

I just wanted to let you people at Almased know that your product really does work and I am grateful that I know about it! I have shared my story with my friend who has lost some weight and is feeling so much better. I think Almased becomes a lifestyle over time. I cannot imagine life without my delicious shakes, every day! So, thank you for helping me get back to feeling better with your shake.
